Its my 2nd week wearing the Galaxy 4 LTE Classic 46mm. So far so good for what I need it for. Battery lasts me all day. I dont use any step counters or health stuff. I just wanted it for messages and calls when urgent. And so far so good. I went to mall the other day with no phone and made a call with 0 overheating issues.
I get Watch Classic 6 47 mm LTE and as soon as I turn on LTE service my watch is going to cooling mode. I spoke with customer service and they offer exchange. So I agree and 5 days later I get another new "working" Samsung Watch 6 Classic LTE. Well after setup and turn on LTE service i have exactly same issue.
I am sure others have had experience with watch 4 LTE essentially overheating the moment you dare to use data for anything. Galaxy Watch 5 Pro LTE battery length. Just received the Galaxy Watch5 Pro LTE. Used it outdoors with the Buds2 Pro for 1,5 hours without any problems. Then I used it to make a phone call without buds. After ~10 minutes an overheating message appeared, disappeared, phone call disconnected and like after 5 min it came back. I had the phone disconnect notification turned off (as discussed in this thread) on my Galaxy Watch 4 (LTE, 44mm). But in the last couple of weeks the watch has started notifying me whenever it disconnects. I've flipped notifications on and off again, hoping to fix this. But it doesn't change the behavior. Worked fine until the last update and first connection to LTE around the same time as I changed phone contracts a day later. On LTE it warns of overheating within 5mins and switches to emergency only for cooling for about 10 mins. Battery only lasts from 8am to midday. I have a Watch 4 classic 4g and wvery time the watch is used as a stand alone device it overheats within seconds of use and has to " cool down". My experience of this waych so far gas not been good at all, there seems to be so many features missing that were usable on the WV66GyM.
